Drizzy Drake Vs. Kia Shine
There's a controversy surrounding the alleged 25 percent ownership Kia Shine claims to have on the song "Best I ever had". Even claiming that he won 3 awards for his publishing share of the song. Drake on the other hand, posted on his blog October's Very Own this past Thursday saying that this is not the case. Drizzy says he has never met Kia Shine or worked with him, and that the entire song was written in Toronto. Kia Shine responded to Drake yesterday once more, during a radio show interview, and continues to claim that he is right. I don't know about yall, but I think Drake is right. Just because Drake borrowed one line from a Lil Wayne song that Kia Shine produced the beat for, doesn't mean that Kia Shine owns 25 percent of the rights of the song. Drizzy Drake we are with you!! As we all know Drake has two twitters, Drakkardnoir and Drake's Knee. Yes, he has a twitter just for his knee and he updates it very often. Not only that, but all of his responses are done in rhyme form and he has almost ten thousand followers!! A lot of his twitter responses recently talk about chicks and hoes. He talks about doing chicks and other dudes' chicks, and what a player he is. Drake must get a lot of action, which I don't doubt because he is hot. I'm sure girls are throwing themselves at him, from left to right. So who can blame the poor boy for wanting to satisfy his fans?
I found a website called Tales From A Groupie, where a lot of different girls claims they did Drake and talk about their experiences with him. VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 09 NYC!!
If you watched the VMAs last night, then you know that it had some crazy moments. I was so sad to see that Drake wasn't there, but I knew that he would not go because he just got surgery.
According to Drake's knee tweeter "yeah missed the VMAs, management was knockin me / chasin kitty like a stray / forgot I was a nominee".
Whatever reason it was, the fact is that he wasn't there. Lil Wayne was not there either. I would have loved to have seen Drake. Next year, I'm sure he'll be there. Although he did not win Best New Artist, it's all good. When I started watching the VMA's I realized that there was no way he was going to win. Lady Gaga was all over the VMA's. From the beginning of the night VMA host Russell Brand was talking about her. She was wearing the most hideous outfits ever, and I think she changed her outfit like five times. It's not that I dislike Lady Gaga, I actually think she has a nice voice and a nice body, but she is insane. Her performance was something else. With Drake not being at the VMAs and Lady Gaga being in front of the camera every 5 mins, I was sure she would win. I wish it would have been Drizzy.
Now the moment of the night that really shocked the hell out of me, was the Kanye/Taylor moment. Before last night I was never a fan of Taylor Swift, because I was not really familiar with her music. But she seemed like a nice wholesome girl, who would not hurt a fly. When Kanye West took away her mic and interrupted her moment, her first moon man award EVER, that was such a dick move on his part. I understand that Kanye is talented and he is doing his thing, but why does he have to be such a dick? I hope that Drake never lets fame get to his head, and that he continues to be down to earth. Is one thing to be confident and love yourself, another thing is to be full of yourself. Please don't let that happen Drake. Now the fans are pissed at Kanye, will they forgive him? Personally, I don't like him very much right now, and don't know how long it'll take for that to change.

Lil Wayne is really something. I knew that before I watched the show, but after watching his life and hearing it from him, I feel even more respect for him. He is such a talented artist. I mean he had the eye and talent to spot Drake's talent in a second, and that of many more artists. He is a genius. I just wanted to show some respect to the man that is responsible for making a lot of dreams come true. He is truly inspirational. And he is gonna continue to be because he lives and breathes music. He is a TRUE ARTIST. Drake baby stick with him, because he is the best role model to have. Him and Jay-z.
